I’ve heard a few rumours and thought I’d give it a shot on my iPhone 3G[s], downgrading from 4.0 to 3.1.2. Instead of using RecBoot or an equivalent tool, I used BlackRa1n and to my surprise, it kicked the device out of the recovery loop. Even easier. Means those on 10.4.x and/or with a PowerPC Mac can just use BlackRa1n. Maybe, just maybe, this will stop people from emailing and/or commenting.
